Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded on a mission to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, promote unity and friendship among college women, help alleviate problems concerning girls and women to improve their social stature, maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind.” The mission of our illustrious Sorority was seared in the hearts and minds of our chartering members when Chi Zeta Omega became the 125th Chapter in the Sensational South Central Region on November 23, 2002.
As we continue to do the work on behalf of our sisterhood to positively impact our communities, we will do so with the end goal of strengthening our sisterhood, empowering our families, building our economic wealth, advocating for social justice, and uplifting our local community. We will “Build Upon Sustainable Initiatives to Necessitate Excellence as we Soar to Greater Heights of Success”.
